We wanted to take a moment to thank you for letting us tour your Vallejo Street home. It’s the most excitement our little boys - Luca & Juno - have had since the lockdowns started in March of last year! There wasn’t an inch they didn’t explore and were particularly awestruck with the space to run around on the roof deck. (Us adults didn’t mind the views, either!)

We have been active community members of our beloved North Beach for 21 years now. We grew up in this neighborhood: countless nights at Tosca, got married in Jack Early Park, have raised our boys to know the difference between the best pizza flour types, and we can tell the parrots apart by squawk (mostly). During the pandemic, Ben served up hot, fresh pour-over coffee to our neighbors and frontline workers with a furry, toy gorilla arm and garnered some national attention for being a friendly neighbor.

After years of hard work, this will be our first chance at owning a home in North Beach. Knowing your commitment to this house over the years makes this opportunity all the more meaningful to us. It is apparent how much time and care was put into your home. Should our offer be accepted, we plan on honoring the spirit of the original design and imbuing it with the same energy as your family did. We’re sure that’s of little consequence to you all, but we just want you to know that we appreciate the care you’ve put into this home and love the property.

Please accept this letter of intent to purchase the home at 524 Vallejo. We understand you are looking for the highest and cleanest offer. We also understand you’re looking to close quickly. We have been waiting a very long time for a home just like this one and we know we would regret not trying. We just couldn’t let this moment pass without making our best attempt to be considered for this purchase.

Thank you for the consideration and, either way, we are grateful for the opportunity. We understand that these things may not be taken into consideration when it is a business deal, but regardless, we wanted to express our hearts for this home and enthusiasm for continued community building here in North Beach.
